Ruth R. McIntosh, M.S., R.N. is the founder and Director of Medical Directions, Inc. She has extensive experience as a nurse, medical claim representative and paralegal. Nursing experience includes supervision of Intensive Care, Emergency Room, Medical/Surgical and Orthopedic Units. As a Certified Nurse Administrator, she also worked as an associate within Hospital Administration. While at Metropolitan Property and Liability Insurance Company, she held the position of Medical Claim Representative for the New England region. Her position as a paralegal at the law firm of Olenn & Penza included experience in the defense of personal injury, workers' compensation and medical malpractice litigation. Currently she acts as a consultant to attorneys and insurance companies throughout the nation.
